Mystery structure, Marine Parade
In Marine Parade, nearly opposite the junction with Montague Place, is this structure. It appears to be made of concrete and metal. It would seem that something was designed to hang from the bracket, but quite what the "basket" on the top is for, is not immediately obvious. Although it may not be of much use to humans at present, it is clearly a useful perch for birds, one of which can just be seen on the top of the "basket". Part of the pier can be seen in the background.
