Seaweeds, Heogland
'Seaweed' is a word that covers a diverse selection of large multicellular algae which are not closely related to each other. The green algae here is only distantly related to the bladderwrack, which is a form of brown algae. Recent work also suggests that algae themselves may not all be closely related, and despite photosynthethising, they may not be very closely related to other plants.
