Recording, through the work of an amateur or not-very-literate stonemason, the death in 1712 of 'Jacob Morgann of Veinor gentleman' who 'Lyes & Buryed under neath'.
Beneath the stoneflagged floor would have been a secure place for burial where the churchyard was subject to frequent flooding.
