Portrait of a dune:"Gun Hill"
Gun Hill is marked on every map of the Burn estuary I've seen but in the 35 years I've known it, it has changed radically. Back in the mid-70s, it was more of a peak, and higher; over time, under the influence of winds and climbing feet, it has spread and become flatter and lower.
