The station buildings have now been converted to holiday accommodation. Before conversion there was a graceful awning, shown in SN6096 : Aberdovey Station just before conversion. The two curious boxes on the platform are steps to enable passengers to climb on and off the trains. Plans are afoot to build a ramp on the platform to replace them.
