TF8346 : Isolated beach featuring clay outcrop
near to Burnham Overy Staithe, Norfolk, Great Britain

Isolated beach featuring clay outcrop
This view is typical of the shoreline of the north side of Scolt Head Island. In the foreground can be seen an outcrop of a particularly sticky clay, exposed under the shingle. However, compare TF7645 : Peat deposit, on a nearby beach and classified not as clay but as peat by a distinctly reputable scientist, not by an amateur arts graduate!
