TF8246 : Marshscape with distant windmill

near to Burnham Norton, Norfolk, Great Britain

Marshscape with distant windmill
Marshscape with distant windmill
The south side of Scolt Head Island looks generally like this: salt marshes with creeks filled and emptied with the changes in the tide. In the distance is the windmill to the west of Burnham Overy Staithe. In the foreground is a notice warning of ground-nesting Little Terns and directing the walker westwards to rejoin the footpath. (S)he would need to be well and truly lost to have reached this sign in the middle of (relative) nowhere.
