SO7845 : Barnard's Green Road bridge
near to Great Malvern, Worcestershire, Great Britain

Barnard's Green Road bridge
From platform 1 looking north to the road bridge. The kids on the left of the bridge are having great fun throwing snowballs at the train, which has just pulled in. Malvern Girls' College on the right through the trees, which started out as the Imperial Hotel when the railway opened in 1861. In front of the train under the bridge on the right is the tunnel (now closed off) leading from the platform into hotel reception. Known as 'the worm', it allowed 1st class passengers to enter the hotel direct without having to mix with 2nd and 3rd class passengers!
