TR3559 : Asparagus (Asparagus officinalis)

near to Great Stonar, Kent, Great Britain

Asparagus (Asparagus officinalis)
Asparagus (Asparagus officinalis)
An impressive clump of the plant. This is the same plant as the cultivated version, although it thought to be native on coastal dunes as here on the Royal St Georges golf course. In the background are the towers of the former Richborough Power Station and the remains of the Princes Golf Club clubhouse, damaged by fire in 2008.
