The bridge's inscription is now at SU9503 : Site of Stewart Bridge, Portsmouth to Arundel Canal. The pivot for the bridge is the circular object between the wall and cutting. The only original surviving swing bridge is Pointz Bridge at Hunston. This view looks east at the crossroads of two footpaths.
