Tewkesbury Town Hall
Looking across High Street to the town hall, sandwiched between Lloyds Bank and The Great Wall Chinese Restaurant. The town hall was built in 1788, but the street frontage was added later in 1857, when the building was used as the town corn exchange. One of the few stone buildings in the town, it is ashlar faced with Doric columns, a central bell tower and a clock, which is flanked by two figures, one of an agricultural worker and the other of Ceres.
