Upper Whitton light float & N bank of Humber Estuary
Light float positioned near the end of the Whitton Sands to indicate the safe shipping channel amongst the constantly-shifting sandbanks of the Humber. The boat-like shape of the float can look like a speedboat when the tide and river current pass by. Red Arrows display over BAe Brough, the white buildings to the left, with the N tower of the Humber Bridge in the far distance.
