NN0559 : Ballachulish

taken 44 years ago, near to South Ballachulish, Highland, Great Britain

This is 1 of 2 images, with title Ballachulish in this square
This is a historic shot, showing the old ferry plying beneath the bridge, then under construction, which was to make it redundant. It saved a long tedious detour round the head of Loch Leven, but on occasion the queue to cross was so long that it was actually quicker to go round the 22 extra miles!
