TA1829 : Either Way in the Wheat

near to Preston, East Riding of Yorkshire, Great Britain

Either Way in the Wheat
Either Way in the Wheat
This is where the Preston to Hedon footpath crosses a field. This year the crop is wheat and, like most crops these days, has been sprayed with pesticide from a tractor. Obviously, the small loss of crop flattened by the tractor wheels is insignificant compared to the increase in yield from spraying.

Hedon Church can be seen on the skyline in the distance.
