The Brompton windmill has lain derelict for many years but is now being converted into a house. This photograph was taken in March 2004 not long after several trees and bushes had been removed from the interior, and as work was about to start to stabilise the existing walls. 2 years later, work is continuing, with another storey added and the roof nearing completion.
