Old oak on the edge of Penny Moor, New Forest
Old oak on the edge of Penny Moor, New Forest
A small patch of open woodland extends onto the heathland by the southernmost linear section of the Bishop's Dyke. Beyond the shade of this oak tree is Penny Moor and the channelled streams that drain the heath and feed Shepton Water. In the distance is Furzy Brow and the well-worn path is visible on the distant slope.
