Confluence of Nant Llech with the Tawe
Confluence of Nant Llech with the Tawe
The flooding Afon Tawe has acquired a rich brown colour from flowing over the Old Red Sandstone soils to the north whilst the Llech, seen here flowing underneath a footbridge, has acquired a peaty colouration. It flows over moorlands underlain by Millstone Grit series rocks.
