Remains of the Guesthouse, Kirkstall Abbey
Remains of the Guesthouse, Kirkstall Abbey
This is part of the remains of the Guesthouse of Kirkstall Abbey, the main part in the foreground, and the Great Chamber beyond, with part of its outside wall standing above the rest. The building in the background is the Abbey House Museum, which incorporates the original gatehouse - the gate was in the round arch between 2 trees on the right. For a detailed plan of the buildings see the Leeds City council website for Kirkstall Abbey. LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link )
