Brede Pumping Station
The steam water works at its best. The closer building is 1904 and housed two Tangye inverted vertical triple rexpansion pumps. One is now preserved. The farthest building is the 1930 pump house for a Worthington Simpson triple. The Tangye boiler house contains several engines from the former water company museum at Upper Cherry Garden water Works, Folkestone.
