Nant Gwrtheyrn
Quarrymen's houses in Nant Gwrtheyrn. The village of Nant Gwrtheyrn was a ghost village until the early 1980's when a dream was realized of building a Welsh Language Centre there. The buildings were renovated, and are now used by people who want to learn Welsh who come there for courses. Many fundraising events were held to collect money to renovate the village, and this photograph was taken when one of the renovated houses, Ty Rhuthun, was being formally opened.
