You can walk but you can't park

This is the entrance to an attractive-looking footpath alongside a wood but the pull-in is blocked with baulks of timber (compare:TM2856 : "No Parking Farm Access"). In the latter location, the need for access appeared more credible but when was this track last accessed by farm vehicle?
