Space in the Museum of Scotland
Space in the Museum of Scotland
One of the many internal views framed by the architecture in the Museum. Here the space is reminiscent of the fortifications of Scotland's castles. The paved area below, overhung by a parapet walk, from where one can imagine dropping boiling oil on invaders. The windows on the left turn a potentially dark and oppressive space, into one of interest and imagination.
