Footbridge over Shepton Water, New Forest
Footbridge over Shepton Water, New Forest
This footbridge crosses Shepton Water at the extreme northeast corner of Tantany Wood (whose northern edge is bounded by the Water). The path to the left leads south along the eastern edge of the wood (bounded by Penerley Water) through typical open woodland (beech, holly, oak and wet underfoot). To the right is the edge of wet heathland, west of Gurnetfields Furzebreak.
