Any one for Tennis!
Any one for Tennis!
The white bubble is the inflatable cover over the tennis courts at Melton, allowing all year and all weather playing. The river is the Eye which is called the Wreake to the west of the town. There is a lot of confusion where the river name changes but it is reasonably certain that it is by the sewerage works at Sysonby SK7318 : Sewage Works at Sysonby. It was a navigable route from Melton to Leicester opened in the 18thCentury. See LinkExternal link for the history of the waterway.
