The Weavers' Trail at Myres Hill
The Weavers' Trail passes Myres Hill on its way to High Overmuir and onward to Darvel. Barytes veins intruded in carboniferous volcanic rocks located 450 yards south and 35 degrees east of Myres were once exploited at a small mine. Click on this link to proceed to Crook Hill
