Carsaig Bay
Carsaig Bay
This is not the only Carsaig Bay in Scotland. It is on the west, seaward side of the peninsula at Tayvallich, and it is probably the low col between Tayvallich and Carsaig that gived Tayvallich its name. Its fine red sand beach is fringed with seaweed-covered boulders, and disappears completely at high tide. The bay is a sheltered anchorage.
