Looking east across the reservoir towards the sailing club on the far shore. This reservoir was built as part of the water supply arrangements for the Oxford Canal which it supplies via the SP4851 : Oxford Canal Feeder channel to SP4551 : Bridge 142 on the Oxford Canal.
