Grouse Management
Grouse Management
The gamekeepers put out this white grit for grouse, especially in late Winter.
It is rich in Calcium, which is naturally deficient in many acidic moorland environments.
Enhancing the birds calcium levels leads to stronger egg shells and increased numbers of chicks.
Many other upland birds will also benefit from this supplement.
