The new Leadburn Inn - view from the north east
This was where the railway carriages, a popular feature of the original building, stood. Although they initially survived the fire, they were found to have suffered smoke damage which was too costly to fix, and had to be scrapped.
Note the banner, which appears to be bidding an 'official' farewell to the old inn as well as welcoming the new one.
