Footpath to Manesty
Footpath to Manesty
The Subject Grid Reference is the "Chinese Bridge" in the distance which the footpath goes to in a straight line. Flooding is not an uncommon occurrence on the low lying fields when Derwent Water is high. Derwent Water is notorious for rapid rises in water level probably due to the fact that Seathwaite in Borrowdale is renowned as the wettest place in England.
