The Dens: The Scottish Natural Heritage viewpoint
The Dens at Rosemarkie contain sharp erosional features instigated by glaciers years ago. The whole area is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. SNH have placed an information board close to one of the shear edges which gives views across Swallow Den. The owner of the woodland has provided a fine path that gives a circular walk in from the local road.
