SO5151 : Dinmore Tunnels

taken 13 years ago, near to Hope Under Dinmore, Herefordshire, Great Britain

Dinmore Tunnels.
Dinmore Tunnels.
South portals of the twin bore tunnels under Dinmore. The A49 goes over the top , rather hazardously, and the river goes around. One tunnel was added later at a slightly different height. The hill is made of a hard sandstone and is mostly covered in oak forest.
