Stained Glass Window at Buckfast Abbey

When visiting the Abbey I declined to take interior photographs in deference to the signs stating that photography was not allowed and that this is a building and environment deserving of respect.

I trust that the contributor requested, and was granted such permission. If not, perhaps those monitoring contributions should take such permissions into consideration and reject those that don't have it. I can well imagine that it would be a difficult task for moderators to monitor this so perhaps other contributors could play their part in drawing such matters to the attention of moderators ensuring that Geograph is not brought into disrepute!

Have to admit though that it is a glorious window and I was sorely tempted!
