The climb from Tulchan Lodge to Finalty Hill via Spying Hillock should offer great views of Glen Isla.
However it was a frustrating day for photography. Continuous light rain prevented the camera from being pointed to the south or east, low cloud darkened the sky, and showers hid the distant views. Yet every now and again the sun broke through to show what the glen could be on a good day. The favourable conditions for this picture lasted barely a minute.
