The square is in two halves , the lower western half is occupied by the historic Berrington Park and the homicidal A49. The eastern side is higher and mostly arable land as shown here. The dividing steep slope is wooded. This is the Long Wood and it runs 3km south to Kimbolton. The northern end is shown here.
