I remember this prefab being relocated from Colchester (I think) in about 1970. It served as the duty Wardens residence. It had unheard of luxuries such as a cooker, electricity and tolerably comfy bunks. The half of the prefab that housed the kitchen etc. has now been demolished the remains you can see here serve as the shop. I wonder if you can still get your Scout belt branded with the Thorrington logo? Nowadays the warden has five star facilities by comparison! See TM0820 : The Lodge
