L8110 : Island plateau
near to Cill Mhuirbhigh, Onaght and Bungowla, Galway, Ireland

Island plateau
The highest parts of Inis Mor are found in the plateau at around 100m altitude approaching the cliffs of the southern coast. As ever the land is given over to grazing, with regular field walls to present a windbreak as much as enclose the livestock. A great deal of the network of walls is in poor repair these days, but the walls are thin and fragile and easily toppled.
