Ridgeway Copse from the verge of the A303, Harewood Forest
On its way to Andover the A303 passes through a cutting through the chalk downland of Harewood Forest. The verge on the north side of the dual carriageway is banked up, and has many hazel trees growing on it (hence the catkins in the foreground) - some of which have artificial dormouse nests hanging from their branches. In the distance are the trees of Ridgeway Copse (beech, oak and hazel), part of the ancient Harewood Forest.
