TG4001 : View north-east along the River Yare

taken 15 years ago, near to Reedham, Norfolk, England

View north-east along the River Yare
The Yare here forms the border between South and North Norfolk. This view was taken from aboard the car ferry at Reedham which is essentially a small floating raft that is guided across the river on chains. It can only carry two cars at a time and is surprisingly busy, with it being the only crossing between Great Yarmouth and Norwich. The village of Reedham can be seen in the background.
