Stourport Bridge carries the A451 road across the River Severn. It is the town's only river crossing. There has long been talk of a relief road for the town, which could include another river crossing. There are no firm plans for this and the concept seems unlikely in the present economic climate, especially as the Bewdley Bypass, only 2 or 3 miles away, already provides another river crossing.
