Drainage ditch alongside the Churchplace Inclosure, New Forest
This ditch runs along the western edge of the Churchplace Inclosure at the corner nearest the railway line. "Churchplace" is the name given to the site of a former royal hunting lodge - there are many such churchplaces in the Forest, the name was given to any old earthworks in the woods.
