View of rear elevation. Designed by Ernest Gimson (1864-1919), but not built until after his death. The building was commissioned by May Morris, daughter of William Morris (1834-1896) of Kelmscott Manor. The Hall was officially opened by George Bernard Shaw in October 1934.
