Fast boat to Worcester?
Fast boat to Worcester?
This boat was travelling fast downstream in the direction of Worcester, creating a huge wash as it went, which swept onto both banks. This contributes to erosion, which a little further down is a serious problem on the river. As the main point of boating on canals and navigable rivers is to enjoy the scenery and the relaxed way of life, it's strange why so many people should want to go as fast as they can. Perhaps next time they might consider the train?
