Two-Tree Island, Edge of Saltmarsh, 1987
Two-Tree Island, Edge of Saltmarsh, 1987
This shows a good range of saltmarsh and edge plants. In the centre is the purple of Sea Lavender. To the left of this is the glaucous (greeny-grey) foliage of Sea Purslane. Further left still is the much greyer Sea Wormwood. There are also the greener, strap-like leaves of Sea Aster scattered about, and further out lots of Cord-grass. On the sea wall itself, there is Sea Fescue Grass. It was taken from the sea wall seen in TQ8285 : Two-Tree Island, South-eastern Corner, 1987.
