SP0957 : Period building, Alcester

taken 15 years ago, near to Alcester, Warwickshire, England

Period building, Alcester
This period timber-framed building in Alcester looks fine until you examine the roof, where there are missing and displaced tiles. It could do with an overhaul (ironically one of the businesses on the ground floor is an estate agents). Alcester looks to be suffering under the downturn with several empty shops and a large hotel closed and boarded up.
