Marsworth Junction, Grand Union Canal
Marsworth Junction, Grand Union Canal
This view of a 'well-lived-in' boat, is from the towpath between Bridges 130 and 131, looking towards the junction of the Grand Union Canal and its Aylesbury Arm at Marsworth. The Arm goes off to the left (adjacent to the yellow silo) to commence its six and a quarter mile journey to Aylesbury town centre via the villages of Wilstone and Puttenham, there being a boat yard and dry dock (Bates') at the latter.
