I'm unsure of the exact geographical location of this image, but I'm sure the large building in the background with the white roof is the museum. The main subject of the photo here is the interesting lamp post on the blue column. The teardrop lantern is called an Urbis Albany and is very common on high streets throughout the UK, Ramsgate being no exception. The smaller black object that looks like a streetlight is not an Albany - it's a CCTV camera, if you're wondering!
