Why They Call It Three Cliffs Bay
Three Cliff Bay is one of the most photographed areas of Gower and is also commonly known as Three Cliffs. Three Cliff itself is a common feature that many climbers head for too. They are made of limestone and are about 20 m high. The largest of the Three Cliffs is easily climbed if approached from the grassy base from where this photo is taken.
Three Cliffs Bay also appears in a music video for The Red Hot Chili Peppers made by Swansea film company, Studio8.
The Great Tor and Oxwich Point can be seen in the distance.
