The Boeing B-17 "Flying Fortress" (the Mark G carried 13 0.50" machine guns) was a four-engine high-altitude day bomber developed by Boeing for the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC). Introduced in 1938, production continued to 1945 with over 12,000 being built.

This picture was taken at the Museum's May 2008 Air Show.
