NU2227 : Long Nanny Burn outfall

Long Nanny Burn outfall
Long Nanny Burn outfall
After a meandering last kilometre Long Nanny Burn eventually makes its outfall into Beadnell Bay. The burn splits the sands of Beadnell Bay into two. It is possible to cross from one to the other, as this child is demonstrating, but you would get wet up to your waist. The water adjacent to me was still fresh not salt, despite an incoming tide.
